Building a workstation PC

Hey I have been tasked to make a build  for a pc workstation for class that will run the Maya and Unity programs. I decided to go with a budget version this is what i am thinking of so far.

Case: I have chosen Corsair Carbide Series 300R Mid-Tower Gaming Case because of the Compatible with ATX and mATX motherboard and the price of $80.

Motherboard: I have chosen ASRock Z75 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z75 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard because of all the expansion ports the decent price of $85.

CPU: I have chosen Intel Core i5-3550 Quad-Core Processor 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache  because of the price of $210.

Ram: I have chosen Corsair 8 GB XMS3 PC3-12800 1600MHz 240-Pin DDR3 Dual Channel Memory 8 Dual Channel Kit because of the compatibility with the motherboard and the price of $52

Hard Drive: I have chosen Western Digital 1 TB WD Blue SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive  because of how much memory it has 1 terabyte should be more then enough for everything. The price is $92

Video Card: I have chosen EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Superclocked 1024 MB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 2DVI/Mini-HDMI SLI Ready Graphics Card because of the price to be honest $174
Optical Drive: I have chosen Sony AD-7280S-0B 24x SATA Internal DVD+/-RW Drive just to have a simple DVD / CD player. Price is $24.

Cooling: I have chosen Corsair Air Series A50 Performance CPU Cooler just because of the price $24.

Sound Card: I have chosen ASUS Xonar DGX PCI-E GX2.5 Audio Engine Sound Cards just to have improved sound quality. Price is $40.

Power Supply: I have chosen Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-550 550W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified because of the price $70.
